HiSET Test Registration
In the State of Indiana, the High School Equivalency Exam (HSE) is an alternative for earning a high school diploma. There are 2 brands of tests you can take, the HiSET or GED, Central Nine offers the HiSET test. Your HSE Diploma can be earned after completing a test based on five subject areas (Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, & Writing). The skills you are taught and eventually tested on are at the same level as those of graduating high school seniors.
Each subtest has multiple choice questions and the Writing section has both multiple choice questions and an essay. You may find out more about the test, as well as tips for test taking, and practice questions by going to the HiSET website (see link below) and looking for Test Taker.
